Fishing Guide

Known affectionately as the Old Man, Cody has been fishing for most of his life. He has been guiding trips at Salmon River Adventures since we opened in 1997. He has won various awards at local and national fly fishing contests and been featured in several fishing magazines. He is known around these parts for his skill in catching trout as well as teaching novices the art of fly fishing. When he’s not fishing, Cody is teaching geology courses at the University of Idaho. He is also an expert in the local vegetation, history and, of course, geology. Cody believes that anyone can learn to fish with the proper instruction. He is also certified in swift water rescue, first aid, and CPR.
