Kayaking Guide

In his 9th season of guiding for SRA, Dakoda got his nickname from his love of all things outdoors, which includes rock climbing, water skiing and hiking. Full of intensity and focus on the river and perfectly at home on the river in his kayak, Dakoda loves teaching others how to enjoy kayaking. An avid kayaker since high school, Dakoda has navigated some of the most exciting rivers in the country. When he’s not kayaking, Dakoda enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors and teaching elementary school in the off season. Dakoda’s fun loving, adventurous spirit is contagious. He has certifications as a Wilderness First Responder and is a Level 5 River Kayaking instructor through the American Canoe Association.
